Spring Break: March 17-24th
Registration for the 2017 – 18 school year will be conducted over the next several weeks, starting with Sacred Heart Church registration from now until February 19th. Students currently enrolled at SHARE will receive registration papers on February 23rd and 24th. However, we now have registration forms available on our website this year as well. This will give parents the opportunity to fill them out ahead of time if they wish. They will NOT be accepted until the 23rd and 24th. This registration opportunity is for SHARE students who are planning to return to SHARE next year and any siblings that are ready to start preschool. Please return your registration promptly to confirm enrollment for your child in the session of your choice. Alumni registration will be open March 7th. Alumni will be reminded to call or come to the preschool with registration requests. We will conclude formal registration with public registration for classes on March 8th at 6 pm. A lottery drawing will be held at 6:30 pm for the remaining spots open in the WF class if there is more interest than availability.
Valentine parties will be held February 9th and 10th during class time. We ask that your child bring a valentine for each person in his/her class. (MTTH AM class – 22 students, MTTH PM class 19 students and WF classes- 25 students. You may include a small treat with each valentine, but it is not required. We will be making special valentine bags in class to hold all the valentines your child receives. When helping your child address valentines, please just have your child sign just his/her name. When valentines are addressed to each particular child, it takes almost the entire class time to hand out valentines. We have many activities planned for the party and want to have time for ALL the fun!
We have one more spot in the W/F class for a parent volunteer.
We will have school on February 20th to make up for the snow/ice day on January 16th.
Our Family Fun Night will be on Thursday, March 2nd from 5:30-7pm. Please consider purchasing a $10 canvas to paint. The proceeds will go toward a new literacy program we are planning to purchase. We will provide all paints and other supplies. If you’ve lost your form, you can still send in the money with a note to let us know what it is for.
